Supplemental Space

Supplemental Space was an outpost of Greenpoint's Record Grouch, offering vinyl, tapes, CDs and printed matter in a range of voices and genres in support of FourOneOne's curatorial platform at 411 Kent, including: Experimental, Electronic, Outré Jazz, Improvisation, Hip Hop, Modern Classical, Avant Rock, New Music, Noise, and both contemporary and archival International music.

 

Supplemental Space also offered Record Grouch's selection of staples and standards for every collection.

The book dives into Kranky Records' journey, as well as the indie scene of Chicago in the 90s.  Reading and celebration moderated by Martha Schwendener. (Free)
